Building Champions for Life
That Harper Kid exists to build champions for life by using sports as a platform to develop confident leaders, strong character, academic achievement, healthy lifestyles, and lifelong success. We empower youth with the skills, mentorship, and opportunities they need to excel in competition, in the classroom, and in their communities.
Programs
LEGACY SPORTS ACADEMY
Develops student-athletes by combining sports training with life lessons through teamwork, discipline, and character. This program builds a foundation of excellence from early childhood through high school. Our main sport are basketball and flag football.
COMMUNITY SPARK
Through unity, we bring families together through annual events that provide resources, celebrate culture, and uplift underserved communities. We host annual back-to-school events and toy drives for underserved communities on the South Side.
MENTOR RISE
Equips youth with leadership skills, confidence, and guidance needed to grow into resilient leaders. This program focuses on personal development, academic success, and community engagement.
