That Harper Kid
Linnae Harper, known publicly as "That Harper Kid," is a Chicago Native and professional basketball player who turned her passion for youth into philanthropy. Harper grew up on Chicago's South Side, attending Whitney M. Young High School, where she starred on the basketball team, leading her team to win four city championships and an undefeated state title. She played basketball at the University of Kentucky before transferring to The Ohio State University, earning two degrees (BA & MA) and being named a part of the 2x Big Ten Champs.
In 2018, Harper joined the WNBA with the Chicago Sky, and later continued her professional career playing for several other teams. In addition to the WNBA, Harper has represented Team USA since 2011, including most recently being a part of the U.S. team that won gold at the 2023 FIBA 3x3 World Cup.
Driven by a desire to give back, Harper founded That Harper Kid (THK) in 2019. The organization's aim to meet youth "exactly where they are," leveraging lcoal partnerships and resources to buld safe, supportive, and productive environments.
